Structuring
We are structure and process driven: in-depth analysis and sustainable management. The investment is essentially against the cash flow, therefore the quality of the due diligence and the negotiation of the security structure are crucial for us.
Depending on the nature of the asset, we set up a fitting structure:
- German investments are set in the form of a classic Spezial-AIF according to German and European investment
rules and codes - US and other international investments are set in a form which prevents the investor from being subject
to taxation in the respective country.
Especially international investments are problematic in classic AIF structures, as they force the investors to register with the foreign tax authorities and to submit annual tax returns abroad. The does not only lead to additional cost, but for most institutional investors, the is an absolute no-go. We work with efficient blocker-structures which keep our investors protected from curious foreign tax authorities.
