The NHI Nord-Hanse Investments GmbH is headed by Eckhart Schmidt.

Eckhart Schmidt

Eckhart Schmidt worked as a consultant and commercial manager in medium sized companies. Then he became partner at private equity boutique Pall Mall Capital in London (UK), which invested among other investments in cooperation with Warburg-Pincus in the German Mittelstand.

In 1997 he founded his own private equity firm and subsequently acquired the ownership of NHI Nord-Hanse Investments GmbH from its founder. Since then, the investment volume of the company rose from 50 m to 420 m Euros.
